You can see it at the Knitting Garden:
.
Don't see any "must knit" items, but I like Joy. The cover cardi is cute too, but it looks almost exactly like one I just bought. What do y'all think?
They also have two other new magazine previews up:
The Kasbah Collection and The Bamboo Tape Collection Mitsu looks cool and comfy.
Also, the Knitting Garden has this new Sublime yarn line that has nice patterns. Of course, I'm still on a yarn diet and haven't bought yarn since before Christmas. Not that I haven't been tempted...
Has anyone ever used this Queensland Cotolino? Elann will have it on sale next week and it looks like it would be nice for baby items. (At this point, I want you to tell me you hate it so that I'm not tempted ;)

Mistu is nice! But that Kimi looks like leftover wardrobe from Star Trek Voyager! :)

Wow, the 80s are back in a really big way for Rowan.
The cotolino looks kind of neat actually--you don't need much for baby stuff, good test project, but on the other hand, linen & cotton aren't up on my top ten favorite fiber to knit with.

I'm in La mesa babysitting my 4 month old granddaughter while my daughter does her student teaching. I don't have a car or access to anything much but I'm crazed to get to a yarn shop and/or talk to other knitters in the area. I can get out at night but am afraid to drive around here in southern California being from a smallish town in Western NY. I saw your site while surfing for links to yarn shops, etc. If you or anyone else can find me some knitting shops, an evening knitting group, knitters to write to, etc. etc. near La mesa-help!!! I love my granddaughter but am used to being out and about. Pam My e-mail is
Gotta go-the baby calls!
